"Back in November I applied for a grant from the Parker County Retired Teacher's Association to help me fund the balsa wood project that I plan to do again this year. I had to write a proposal, explain the project, describe how it will pertain to students in the real world, what I would use the grant money for etc. Friday, I got the call that I had received the grant to help fund the project so that, hopefully, neither I nor students had to pay out of pocket for supplies." - Mrs. Bezio
